Online status says my applications were recd on Oct 2/ 2007.
My reciept notices show the right date in August.
Is there any need to worry or notify any one about this?

Hi friends,
I got my I-140 approval in premium processing. But unfortunately, USCIS printed the new labor filing date (2010) when the attorney requested my I-140 to capture the old priority date which is June2004. My law firm already contacted USCIS to issue a revised notice with the old priority date (June2004).
How long does USCIS take to issue a revised I-140? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Anything that we can do to expedite the release of the new I-140 notice with correct priority date?
Please let me know when you get a chance

If so i think your I 485 will be automatically updated ..

One of the comments on my post earlier today about the killed Border Patrol agent seemed pretty harsh - accusing most BP agents of being restrictionists with bad motives. I still think that's harsh and most Border Patrol agents are honestly out to do the necessary job of protecting our country's borders. I have to file a loan application which requires me to state if I am a Lawful Permanent resident alien or not; and I am not sure if I am, can somebody please clarify if I am a Lawful Permanent resident alien or not if I have a pening I-485 application and I am working on EAD?

USCIS has specifically answered a very similar question in 2004. The answer is "A change of status take effect automatically on the effective date noted in the [approval notice], even if there is an intervening admission...."
Your H-1B status should therefore take effect automatically on 10/1/09, assuming it was approved as a change of status.

Hi,
I am filing the PERM application in EB2 Category. The position needs Bachelors + 5 Years (or) Masters + 1 year. I do have 30 months expereince after finishing my Bachelors degree and 11 months expereince after finishing my Masters degree.
Will I be eligible to file in EB2 as I have Masters degree and more than 12 months of expereince after Bachelors.
My questions is -- How do you count the expereince if its Masters + One year
Will you count one year after finishing the Master Degree completed (or)
Will you count one year after finishing the Bachelors Degree.

Hi,
Company A filed I-485 (PD Aug 28, 2006). Another Company B filed for I-140 with a pre-approved labor dated Nov 23,2005. If the I-140 gets approved from Company B, can I use that to port my priority date to Nov 23, 2005? If I move to Company B after porting the PD, do I have to stay with Company B and if so how long?
(I am planning to stay with Company A for 6 months and then move to Company B using AC21. )
