I get a big laugh when I read some of the posts mocking each other...
I have expressed my view/gameplan and even mentioned those who like can take anything out of it...
all those who are asking for donation..would you be happy if I donate a 1000$...why not make IV a paysite :D

I dont want to list here all the charities and social stuff I do just because a bunch of morons demand donation...hahaha sounds like ganesh festival donation demand :D

I am seeing a lot of folks predicting the EB2 dates. And I believe they are right in doing so since that is their filign category. What I am asking is if there are any prediction regarding EB3-I. The dates are not moving at all which is absolutely frustating.

where does it say if on is on H1B or F1, he or she has a right to get a GC. GC or citizenship is a privilege, we cant demand it or force someone to give it to us. Its a simple demand and supply situation, there are more visa seekers then there is availability and therefore there is a waiting period. i am not sure why we don't accept the simple fact that there are way too many people from developing country like ours moving to US, and not everyone can be accommodated ASAP. i think US has every right to do what it thinks is best for her, even if we don't agree with that,
And those who say its discrimination, discrimination is when people from Bihar are beaten up on the streets of mumbai cause they are taking jobs away from marathi manus. Had there been so many techies from around the world taking up jobs in India, we would have seen street lynching.

Not that I say we need change, but this is a public organization. Everyone has a right to call for election. There is nothing wrong.

For example, they wait for years to complete the legal process, during that time, they cannot travel abroad without the serious risk of being denied re-entry. Having committed no crime, they have to notify the government every time they change their place of residence � something that, among American citizens, only convicted felons are required to do. They have spent hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars on government-mandated application fees and related costs. They have underwent inordinate amounts of stress making sure their applications were complete and properly filled out in every way, knowing that any error or omission, real or perceived, could get their application automatically rejected. Through it all, they had faith in the system of legal immigration. Now they are being penalized for following the law and for having faith in the system, because the federal government has dealt with them unjustly and deceptively. Such a way of dealing with prospective legal immigrants is sure to deter other highly skilled, intelligent people from wanting to live and work in the US, to the detriment of our country.
I request that you investigate and work to improve the procedures for legal employment-based immigration. We have several bills that are being discussed to provide releif for all of us stuck in the Green Card process. We have very few dedicated volunteers working very hard and knocking the doors of representatives across the country seeking support for our bills. We need to lobby hard to get releif for all of us in this election year and lobbying is not cheap. We need dollars to keep up our lobbying efforts. We need help with raising dollars that are needed to keep working for our cause. We do not have Star Players and/or Star Athletes raising funds to support our cause. We need to do it ourselves. We all need to come together as a dedicated team with a mission to raise the targeted dollar amount. Can we do it?. Can we all step up and raise the dollars we need for our cause?.

Much as I'd like to participate in this campaign, it's the employer's signature that I can't guarantee. My employer is a big and prestigious (supposedly) company and will not want to sign this petition or do anything against the counsel of the attorney. The attorney is not gaining anything by expedited processing of the I-140 and won't support this either. He's an AILA member too, if that's of any significance.
If this is worthless without the employer's signature, then I'm unable to participate in this campaign, though it is a worthy effort.I would urge all members who can get the employer's consent to definitely participate and wake up the USCIS from it's slumber.They need a big kick up their you-know-where, especially the TSC.
