Hello?
I entered U.S with B1/B2 visa and got changed into F1 status. While F1 status got approved
I departed U.S due to family matter.
Now I'd like to make it sure that my B1/B2 visa is still valid,because I plan to visit to my friend who lives in U.S.
How to check my B1/B2 visa could be remained still valid?
Or does somebody know anybody who had been in same situation?

Giving I-485 benefits to people without current PDs is a bad idea.
so what 's good idea to you......putting all of EB applicants who are waiting to file 485 in waiting state until you get your GC is a good idea?
First of all, why are you being worried about this action item being EB1 applicant and you will get your GC in no time...
I don't think you are from EB1 category...You are selfish mind who holds EAD and doesn't want other EB applicants to come in to 485 waiting line.
would you have had the same thought if there was no July 07 fiasco and if you would need to wait in the line........selfish minds like you can't stop this action item.

This is a massive drop. May piss a few "Recent" buyers off but it will sure make any new ones happy. If you're on a Nikon set of gear you're going to be getting excellent new ones for the same price (almost) as a 20D... Amazing.

I made address changes to pending EAD renewal and I-485 yesterday in the afternoon for myself and spouse. Same day later in the evening I got email saying CPO for EAD renewal. This is a story of 8/20/2008.
I tried called 800 number and was told that they can't verify that address was successfully changed on the application.THey don't have access to personal information. They are asking me to take Inforpass to verify the address.
There is no LUD on either I-485 or EAD renewal after address change. Is LUD an indication that address change has been done? There are no infopass available for 2 months ( I will keep checking if somebody cancels )
Does anybody has any pointer as to how I can verify address change without infopass

2. I requested my current employer to provide the copy of Labor certification that was filed for me. With I 485 pending you need an EAD to be able to apply for a social security number. I believe it is not uncommon for parents to apply for employment authorization for a minor to do just what you are asking.

Couple months ago, he and I gets married and he is ready for file the green card. But his grandfather is very sick now and he have to go back immedately; however, he didn't file anything at this time. If he having a emergry that need to go back on June , what he can do now? And is he able to come back to US?

Did anyone get their 140 approved from Vermont?
My 140 and 485 were filed late July 07 in Nebrasks and I got notices stating the 485 was transferred to Texas and 140 was being processed in Vermont.
The Vermont processing time for 140s has been stagnant at April 2006 for a long time.
Wondering if anyone has any updates on this.

The case status message for mine and my wife's EAD changed to Card production ordered. It did not change to Approval notice sent. I received the EAD cards within 1 week of the Card Production e-mail. However my lawyer received the Approval notices (wife and mine) first week of October.

Hi All,
Today I received an email from CRIS saying that they have sent me an RFE on my AP application. My wife's AP was approved last week, so it really confuses me about what this could be about? Can anyone shed more light on "probable" causes of I-131 RFE?
I have another question - my passport is expiring in November 2007. Could that be the cause of the AP RFE? I could get that renewed from Indian embassy in 10 days, so its not a problem. But, has anyone heard about cases where expiring passport causes RFEs?

I have my I140 approved under EB3 with the PD Aug'2003 with the employer A. Now I am planning to switch to employer B for filing Labor under EB2 category.
My question is Can I avail the PD i.e Aug'2003 got from the previous labor EB3 (i.s employer A) for the new EB2 labor with employer B.
My Exp: B.E + 8 Yrs of Progressive Exp.
Employer A:
labor : EB3 Approved PD AUG'2003
I140: Approved
Employer B:
labor: EB2 under process.
I would appreciate your reply, any attorneys pls.
