Hi,

My kid brother (15 years old and US Citizen) lives in India with my parents. They are quite elderly now to take care of him and we were thinking of bringing him to US legally to live with us. We want to adopt him so that he can have a good lifestyle here and have no issues legally in future. Is there anyone who has gone through similar case before ? Also, I wanted to ask if there are any attorneys that specialize in cases like these ? If so please let me know and I would like to hold a consultation asap.

I came to US on J1 visa (exchange visitor program) and got waiver and converted to H1 visa. I could not apply for I-140 due to employers problems and now I have short of time for H1 extension.

Can I convert my visa to J1 again? Is H1 to J1 visa possible? Please advise.

Last month dates were 7 Jan 2005.
This month dates are 22 Jan 2005.
Still the reported Jan 2005 approvals(, IV ) etc are less than 5.
Not sure whats happening to these

New topic for discussion while waiting for friday bulletin :)

May be all of them are approaved...hope to see some forward movement in next bulletin.

Hi

I'm self filing my EAD renewal and needed help filling out form I-765.

Question 11: Dates of prior EAD.
Do they expect the dates of all previous EAD applications or just the last one?

Question 12: Date of Last Entry into the U.S.
Question 13: Place of Last Entry into the U.S.
I recently went on a short trip to Canada and I didn't receive a new I-94 on my entry back by road via Buffalo,NY. Prior to that, I entered the US on H1B via SFO.
How should I answer this one? SFO or Buffalo,NY?

I live in California. Where do I mail the I-765 application?

I am currently on L1 visa and want to apply for H1 through a small-time consulting company. However, I will decide on joining the new company only after I get the H1 visa.

* Is it get H1 visa and not join the company that has filed for my H1?

* Can I legally continue with my current company even after I get my H1?

* Can I join a third company instead of joining the company that has filed for my H1?

Hi,
I got my PERM labor approved yesterday, for applying I-140 were can I find the processing dates for I-140? I mean specific to Country? Because, if I go to https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter=NSC the processing time for "Skilled worker or professional" is April, 1 2008, does this date apply for all? Thanks in advance.
